Arranging Your Programs Menu OrderWhen you first got your computer everything in the Programs menu on the Start button was in alphabetical order. After you started installing programs they usually get tossed in at the end, making it harder and harder to find what you want with each new program you install. You can change that. If you have a particular order you want the programs in, such as your most used programs first, you can click and hold the button down on a folder on the program menu, then drag and drop it into the place you want it to appear. If you just want them in alphabetical order, right click anywhere on the programs menu and choose "Sort by Name" and they will be rearranged into alphabetical order. |
